This blog was created to service the Southern Colorado American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) members.
My intent with this blog is to reach out to current and potential members or other safety professionals with information pertaining to the chapter and the safety profession in general. I hope that people who view this blog interact with each other and I encourage you to post comments or points for discussion.
I hope to share ‘lessons learned’ with you all and hope that you will in turn share your stories as well. This is just another resource for us as safety professionals to reach out and connect. Often we find ourselves faced with a situation or problem and are not quite sure how to deal with it. Chances are that others, our peers, are experiencing similar situations and have found solutions that worked or at least learned from. I hope that we can learn from each other and grow.
Remember, it is about furthering the safety profession and making our organizations a safe place for any employee to work and thrive in.
